Native Plants for Native Pollinators Fall 2026
Community Restoration Support – Apply now
Thanks to the BC Conservation Foundation’s Community Conservation Program, KNPS has a limited supply of bee specialist nectar plants available for eligible community restoration projects – and they must be planted in Fall 2026!
Eligibility Criteria:
- Located in the West Kootenay region
- Minimum project size: 50 m² / 50 plants
- Must be a community-led restoration project or naturalized landscape
- Suitable habitat for nectar plants
- Commitment to long-term stewardship
- No use of systemic insecticides or herbicides
*The plants are West Kootenay eco-types, and therefore, are not appropriate for East Kootenay or Thompson-Okanagon regions.
Application Process & Availability
Applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis until plants have been fully allocated.
We will be accepting applications for fall plantings, with applications opening in July.
