Spring Wildflower & Pollinator Walk – Mt. Sentinel

This is a moderate hike to lush pocket meadows on the south slopes of Mt. Sentinel.  There are also outstanding views of the confluence of the Kootenay and Columbia rivers and the greater Castlegar area.

This hike is being offered in conjunction with the One River, Ethics Matter Conference at the Castlegar Campus of Selkirk College (May 30, 31), limited space is available.  For more information on the conference please see the Selkirk College Conference Website.

Be sure to bring water, a hat, a field guide and camera, sturdy footwear and walking poles (if needed), and a sack lunch.  As always, please dress for the weather.
