Botany BC is an annual meeting of botanists and plant enthusiasts. More than a “conference,” Botany BC is a series of talks and field trips (mostly field trips!) designed to explore the exceptional array of native plant species occurring in a region of British Columbia. This year Botany BC is based out of Rossland and we’ll be heading out to see what’s growing at:
- Record Ridge
- King George VI Provincial Park
- Pend D’Oreille Valley
- Grassy Mountain
It’s a great time to learn more about native plants and their habitats; learn in the field and in a fun and inspirational atmosphere, and learn from the people who quite literally wrote the books on plants in this province!
See Botany BC website for more on this free event and to register!
